The Matrix SCOOP is the end result of analyzing years of standard coal scoop performance and where their structures failed the most. Matrix has designed the SCOOP to last longer in rugged mining conditions. How?
The SCOOP’s bucket is made of Hardox® steel, which provides much longer service life than standard buckets. Hardox is also used at key reinforcement points and mounting brackets on the sides, bottom and cutting edge.
One-Piece Hardox® Ejector Blade – most blades are two piece, which leads to early failure. The SCOOP’s one-piece design eliminates this structural weakness.
